The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya is once again setting up, in 2010, the telematic training line aimed mainly at unemployed workers.
The e-training programme aims to provide a wide range of training possibilities via Internet, through which a large number of people will be able to train and thus improve their expectations of finding work.
The e-training programme is made up of different courses in 116 different specialities, of between 25 and 110 hours in length and within the following spheres:
All the courses are free for those who register.
This programme is co-funded by the European Social Fund and is within the Impulse Project developed by the Departament de Treball, through which the aim is to have a specific impact that involves a high number of take-ups, thus benefiting the maximum number of people in the training field.
3 May 2010.
The courses will start on the 1 and 16 of each month, planning them according to specialities and demand. Prior to the start of each course there will be an introductory module to find out about the platform (the student that does more than one course only needs to do this module once). A maximum length will be established for each course according to the hours to be completed.
The training will be given virtually with permanent assessment by expert teaching staff.
The student will have a virtual classroom, which will have different specific spaces in order to manage the time/agenda, the publication of teaching materials and/or consultations with the teaching staff.
The student must read the support contents they will find in the classroom, read the messages that they will be sent by both the teachers and other classmates, and take part in the activities proposed to them. Following the course involves a daily commitment of approximately one and a half hour's work.
At the end of the course, students will be issued with a certificate.
This training is mainly aimed at unemployed workers. Nevertheless, employed workers may also register on the condition there are free places.
Requisites that must be met:
Access to the e-training course searcher..
People interested in doing these virtual courses must register online,
completing this form:
The people registered will receive by e-mail the access passwords to the training platform, the introduction to the tutor and information about the communication channels (e-mail, helpline, times...).
If you are registered, you may accede to the e-training platform..
See the draft calendar subject to changes.
As the students register, the classrooms will gradually be filled. When the classes reach a minimum of 25 students, it will close and the course can start.
Priority will be given to students who have not done any e-training course in 2010.
If 5 days before the start of the course there is not the minimum of 25 students, the already registered students will be informed that the starting date will be moved to 15 days later.
